Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [22nd - 27th September 2017]

Nah, it's utter dog****.

Henderson offers absolutely no protection to the defence and hoofs it the second he's under pressure, Gini yet again has gone AWOL and Can's far too raw.

Coutinho, Lallana and hopefully Keita next season although I expect it to be Lallana, Keita and A N Other.

Klopp's braindead if he thinks we don't need a DM.

Gini i cant work out what offers us but again its cause i feel he is so similiar to others, Can i felt at one point was poor now i think when he isnt there the midfield is really lacking. I dont want us to lose Can.

Keita/Can together could be good imo

Henderson's a box to box midfielder yet Klopp's trying to mould him in to Alonso, Can has bags of potential but he seems to love himself too much and I expect Madeline McCann will be found before Gini away from home.

Anthony Taylor's still stealing a living as a ref. It wasn't just the major decisions the officials got wrong today - there were countless examples of his incompetence throughout the game.

He was absolutely dreadful throughout today...it's these types of performances that the FA really need to take a look at and ask Taylor to explain a number of decisions.

I still think the penalty is nonsense...there's a 50/50 to be won, neither player has control of the ball and the only player to touch the ball is Mignolet. Vardy fouls him imo

it did look a lot like he missed the ball and wiped out Vardy though, the fact that he came flying out to kick the ball yet it went behind him made it look rather dubious...

Brighton and Newcastle going at each other, entertaining game. Both teams after 3 points in a fixture they've cleared decided is a good opportunity to pick up points

Results this weekend clearly show we are riding our luck.a bit and results are flattering to deceive. We aren't as good as city currently and Chelsea can slam teams like stoke away Where We were happy with a draw.

but also doesnt wipe out the other player in the process

Liverpool were a bit lucky not to get a 2nd pen against them (and that Vardy always does the same thing)
how about the penalty Liverpool should have had and absolute farce that the first Leicester goal was? Leicester were kept in the game pretty much purely by the ref and bad decisions.

Dire from Madley but that's not unexpected, he's one of the very worst refs out there.

Arsenal have started this very poor.
