With Lukaku, Martial and Lingard all missing very good chances to put the game to bed , as soon as Smalling started limping it was obvious what was going to happen.

The small consolation is at least Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea all dropped points in this fixture also

I think someone like Matic has too bark at the forward players to reign it in with ~5 mins to go. No one was in position, just collectively poor, defence and midfield
