Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [23rd - 29th October 2015]

First team coach sent off, Manager sent off, 7 yellow cards (x2 for Matic), Matic sent off, 'The Special One' refusing any post game media, Goal ruled offside for Chelsea, goal-line technology did not award a goal for Chelsea...

Excellent. Meltdown in full effect.

Good game by the way, West Ham were good. Chelsea were better than they have been recently to be honest.

Tim Sherwood :D, what an absolutely terrible manager.

Willian has been consistently excellent for Chelsea despite the absolute dross around him.

lol, he was subbed several times for being absolutely awful. Up till he scored that freekick goal what a few games ago, he was one of their worst and most useless players. He's scored a few freekicks and had 2-3 good games otherwise being awful.

It's just that currently score a couple of goals and you will stand out like a sore thumb while the side plays so so badly.

Disagree about him being absolutely awful. I think he has been their most positive player for quite a few games now. He's just not got the 'star power' of Hazard/Pedro so was frequently pulled off.

Would love to know the behind the scenes story at Chelsea, they've not gone from dominant champions to a team in total disarray without some serious behind the scenes shenanigans.

I would expect it to be the aggregate of several off the field moments, combined with their poor confidence on the pitch.

Ox still hasn't got a clue what to be doing. Half decent angle on pass forwards, obvious and easy pass out wide, almost no chance of scoring from where he was not least because he's a crap shot.... so holds on to it attempts to shoot, taps it with the wrong foot first accidentally and gives the ball away.

Ox just really isn't any good at all(he will probably score after saying this, but it won't change anything). He just so consistently does the absolutely wrong thing.

I said the same, he's been better in the last few games and gotten a few important goals, but he hasn't been consistent as you initially said as he was amongst their worst players in many of their games and I wouldn't call him excellent either. He's had a few games above the rest of the team but no where near excellent. he's only or mostly scored from freekicks, his open play has been meh. A couple of better games, a bunch of terrible games.

It's too easy to see Hazard or Matic playing utter garbage around him and think he's been great. He's looked near god like in some games compared to those two but not played very well himself.
