Being the second highest assister in the PL over the last 4 years though tells it's own story though and it also disproves your sensationalist view that he hasn't improved at all, all his crosses hit the first man and his shooting is woeful (20 goals over the past 2 seasons improving on 4, 6 & 7 the 3 years prior to that)

FT: Villa 1 - 3 Everton


Easy in the end, 1st half was complete domination, second half wasn't great especially after Clark got sent off, we got very sloppy.

Oh well, off to a good start! 1st victory at Villa Park for 7 years... and we all know what happened the last time we won there!
