Pleased we got the win, but a nothing performance really. Defence is just shambolic. Bellerin, Sokratis and Mustafi all not good enough.

I wasn't really expecting a zero to hero performance just because the opposition were worse than the last two games - understanding and momentum take time to build up after all - and it wasn't fun viewing for long periods, but a win's a win and you'd expect them to get better week-by-week. Got a whole run of games which look winnable while the kinks (hopefully) start to get ironed out a bit.

We looked good going forward in the last half hour or so, but that defence is still a shambles.

Agree with previous comments about the poor defending. Looked good on the attacking front though.

Could be a lot of 5-4 wins etc this season unless the defense is sorted out

Nah sorry its early season, no club should worry about that so early on, right now there losing, so if they still lose by playing more least they can say they made an effort.

Absolute nonsense isnt it. Thats a penalty. Hes gone into Firmino not the other way around. ridiculous.

We only got 1 penalty at anfield last year in the league right? Probably should have had 2 already this game but refs just seem to think we'll get goals anyway so no need to give them. Really would like some kind of penalty review system.
