Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [24th - 29th November 2017]

I agree with the shirt pulling, the second one isn't the same though. It's not an in play thing. If the ref is letting the players claim influence his decision then he's not doing his job.
As you said in your earlier post, that's basing punishments on the outcome not the intent. The defender's intention is to influence the ref by claiming the attacker dived.

Anyway, my original point is we get so hung up on diving. There's 100's of other types of cynical fouls that I'd class as cheating or conning the ref just as much as diving. It's impossible to look at every single incident retrospectively. You can only look at those that directly influence the game.

Not sure why lindelof is raising his leg after getting the ball on the ground there

Pretty sure it rolls over the ball with momentum.

Also, fed up (united players too) of players going down so the other team kick it out, then getting up. Play to the whistle.

But not with his actions when the balls in play. That's why shirt pulling = bad but claiming for a throw in or a three kick isn't. You can't pull someone's shirt and have any kind of innocence. You can think that you won the ball and claim that you did though.
