Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [25th - 27th August 2017]

Koeman finally decided to put Calvert Lewin on in place of the ineffective Sandro with about 25 minutes to go and he gave David Luiz a torrid time.

He is surprisingly strong for a young lad and was beating him in the air and beating him for pace. Everton finally posed some sort of threat upon his introduction but it was far too little far too late.

I can tolerate a defeat if we at least have a go or look like we were in the game. Today we were not and that is down to the tinkering of the manager.
 
Don't get klopp dropping migs especially in a high pressure game, if he explained it in press conference I missed it.

Plus were only 4 games in so migs can't be needing a rest.

I was expecting Robertson to start
 
strange line ups but at least the Liverpool one has played together recently witht he exception to the keeper which shouldn't matter. wenger benching mustafi, Lacazette and Kolasanac seems crazy. bellerin somehow still in the team but guess they'll need his speed today.
 
I genuinely have no idea what this Arsenal line up is.

I'll probably have to eat my words later, but I think Wenger has finally lost it.
 
Welbeck ahead of Lacazette, Kolasinac dropped to the bench, Holding and his lack of pace against Mane when Mustafi was available.
 
It's a bit of nothing if you ask me. Quite normal changes considering the poor performance against Stoke. Welbecks being playing well. Isn't Mustafi leaving or something? Also, he's just come back from injury..
 
Welbeck is a great footballer, until he gets close to the box then its like he has never kicked a football in his life. He should not start as a first choice striker, ever.
