Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [25th - 27th Feb 2012]

Just like flying a few hundred miles to see a 1-0 loss away at Walsall (John Macken no less getting the goal). :(

Or vowing NEVER to go back to Swindon after seeing two 1-0 losses with 2 shots on goal across both teams... :(

I've had better luck at both of those grounds recently, but I can't say I'd ever fly to them!

Worst away experience was about this time last season. Went away to Dagenham & Redbridge... we were losing 2-0 and neither team had had a shot on target! Lost 4-1 in the end, scored with one of the last touches of the game and our manager was sacked the next day... :(

I only flew back for walsall as it was postponed form the xmas snow so I had the ticket and needed a break from Belfast in March. Wasn't the best day...

Ooo that's pretty bad! D&R's stadium is near nothing nice too (reminded me of my secondary school that backed on to a football stadium weirdly) but that must have been a bad day out :(

What do you all think about Liverpool and Spurs winning tomorrow? I'd like to think they will but I'm really not sure.

I have no idea if to bet or not, but I'd be gutted if I miss out and they win.

Spurs will probably thump Arsenal and I'm hoping Cardiff win but I don't expect them to... :p

I thought that too, but it never goes the right way for me. :(:p

So damn tempting.

What was the score between Spurs and Arsenal at WHL last season? Saw something the other day saying this could be the first season that Spurs do the double over Arsenal for years but I thought they did it last season? I know they won 2-3 at the Emirates

Anyway I reckon it'll be a draw tomorrow

EDIT: Ignore that, no sooner do I click submit I remember it was the 3-3 last season (how did I forget that one!?)

So the Carling Cup Final today. The cup that nobody cares about unless they are in the final and then it becomes a major trophy :)

I expect both sides to go for it hell for leather and we should have quite a good game of football on our hands....

As far as I'm concerned winning to gain momentum for a push for fourth is far more important than winning to gain a trophy today. If we lose I think that'll end our chances for a Champions League place.

We need to win today, Been far too long with no trophies and too long since we been to Wembley, Winning this will also help the morale and help us push on for fourth
