Indeed. I am absolutely staggered he's still being paid to be a footballer.
 
To be fair to Valencia, Rooney is stealing more of a living right now. He is off the pace, touch is poor, weighting of passes is poor and his workrate isn't there. Other players are making passes to where he should be and he hasn't bothered moving on after passing the ball.

This was his issue in midfield, he strolled around and once he had made a crap pass he just strolled around some more.
 
Sanchez finally scores. God knows how Arsenal are ahead but it has been a fantastic half to watch.
 
Its a bit like watching Kevin Keegans Newcastle, strange strange strange game.

Good to see Sanchez get on the scoresheet - he has looked up for it today.

Yet one of our best chances has come from a great turn and run by Rooney. He may be off his game but he's at least doing something.

I had to laugh when the camera cut to the bench to look for potential replacements and could only find Fellaini.
 
Sluggish, don't look like we want to score at all. Martial has been bright but that is about it. Utter waste of time playing two defensive midfielders against Sunderland. Get one of them off for Herrera and try and win this game.
 
Nice goal. Blind does more with one ball than Carrick and Schneiderlin have done all half. Why is our defender having to do that?? Same as he did for the Rooney goal midweek. Someone who finally steps the pace up and moves the ball quickly.
 
Lovely cross by Blind. Mata with what looked like a shot but we needed that.
