Carrick and Schniederlin is a poor combo. Carrick is so ponderous these days. He slows up play so much looking for the slide rule, defence splitter. I'd rather see Schweinstiger on because he always has the instinct to move forward. As for Rooney - yet another stinker.

Decent 1st half, couple of ropy moments though - Can is not a CB, don't know why Rodgers is so intent on playing him there constantly.
