I find the app on my TV is terrible also, If I use the PS4 and play it through that, it is better. Would prefer to watch it from my TV though instead of firing up the PS4

Must be the internet connection?

Presumably because it's trying to stream in 4k through your TV whereas in 1080p on the PS4. I had a similar issue which fixed itself when I plugged the TV in with an ethernet

Thats what I thought it was at first too, so I disabled the wifi on the tv and plugged it into the router via ethernet but no change.

I've not had an issue with the app on my Samsung telly but can understand you getting frustrated with it, do films etc. stream fine through the app?

Yeah, literally everything else streams fine, netflix, everything else on prime. Its just the football
