Referee and mainstand linesman contending for worst performances of the year, an absolute farce, should be in non league football.

Very pleasing game.
Does anyone know where Coates was sitting

Indeed the amount of times they need to blow their whistle for how much he gets kicked, must be a workout.

Personally i think he would have gone on to be a legend at Newcastle but will not do overly well at Liverpool if that makes sense.

Newcastle seem to worship the big number 9 whereas Liverpool are already more than happy with their new number 7 and are more likely to tailor the team to him.

I'm not saying Suarez isn't a talented guy, he was amazing today and I think he'll have an outstanding season. Yes he will inevitably get a lot of "attention" from defenders. I was only highlighting the fact that he isn't very endearing to the refs. I think he's already proved his petulance since coming to Liverpool (and before) and I predict there will be more to come.

If Suarez keeps grabbing headlines you have to wonder how much he's going to move to chelsea for next season and how much Harry is going to pay for Carroll to replace Crouch. :p

Shame Torres didn't stay to try to build a partnership with suarez.

Pleased I have Suarez, Henderson and Adam in my Fantasy team :D

Aye probably not but it would certainly conform to stereotype to see Chelsea and City sniffing round if he has a good season and equally the likes of Spurs looking at Carroll at the first signs of him struggling.
 
Liverpool really don't need Carroll, what a massive waste of money, even if he was 10m it still would be a ridiculous price to play for a bench player, Liverpool's best team was out there apart from Gerrard today and the tactics deployed are how they should play each week. I'm not criticising Carroll, it's not his fault, but Liverpool are best without him.

Imagine if 'pool had spent that money more wisely, there's no reason why they couldn't of challenged for the title.
