Absolutely hilarious last night. Two teams who have fallen so far from the teams that the rivalry was built on that it may as well have been a League 1 clash.
Utterly diabolical, we don't have a single player who would get in any of the big 6 (Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, Spurs Chelsea and Leicester). We'll finish bottom half of the table this year, and I'm willing to put a lot of money on that, we're awful. We've got the worst manager since Fergie. Rashford has all the finishing ability of a potato salad, how he managed to blag 300k a week, I'll never know...oh wait, yes I do, because he's young and English, which is the holy grail. He hasn't improved since LvG first bought him in, if anything he was better then.
Young, is there anything more soul destroying and uninspiring than seeing Young on the ball when you have seconds left and need a good delivery, you may as well be smashing it in the box with a stick of dynamite, it would do the same job. He really is a washed up old man, who again, managed to blag a years extension for no other reason than we have no one better, which is tragic
McTominay, christ...it really is pathetic that the highlight was from someone so sub-par the standard required, he's an awful player. Great attitude, aye. Wants to try and puts his heart in to it, aye. But he's rubbish, let's not beat around the bush. It was a great strike sure, but it probably would have been saved had it not been for the deflection.
I just can't fathom how Ole thinks he can turn this around, other than him not wanting to give up the job for as long as possible so he doesn't have to go back to his level of managing part time Norwegian players
