Not sure what we're doing really, we seem to get worse the closer we get to their goal. What's missing.
Exactly, and when it goes to Mata he can't create much from out wide, so he always comes inside and ends up with too many defenders in front of him.
I like Mata but it feels like he's not quick enough and doesn't have enough 'flair' to play out wide, or something.
Rooney has fluffed every ball that's come his way so far, too.

Not enough chance creation tbh, we need to be looking forward and making runs not ending up at the back like we did for the last 2 years. Surprised Depay isn't using his talent we know he has, instead contributing to the boring back passes. The LVG effect?

I have no idea why it was a yellow. He was fouled and then tugged back the guy that fouled him a little in a completely innocuous area of the pitch.

When Bale gets rid of his entirely ridiculous hair. He looks like a complete tool with his beard and long hair.
A couple of half decent moments, but a pretty awful showing going forward (again).
Herrera and Mata haven't done much at all, we've had quite a bit of the ball but neither of them have created anything. Crying out for a flair player on the right wing, and a better striker.

It's really annoying when we're countering at pace and then stop to make back pass or side ways pass. Mata shouldn't play on the wing.
Depay has been pretty quiet, apart from the free kicks/ corners
Couple of very stupid bookings, both sides had good chances to score but its a very bitty game, with possession being given away cheaply
Utd don't have any really fanciable options on the bench (Young? meh, long ball to Fellaini?) , I suppose we could give Chicharito 10-15 at the end but after midweek I don't see him scoring here

Herrera has done pretty well, created a chance for both Mata and Rooney. Considering how much the ball has been in their third he's done well with what he's had.
