There will be a lot of blame on the ref, but when you have over 20 shots off target, you really need to look at your players.

Woeful result, should have been 3 points guaranteed by about 20 mins. It says a lot when you need a goal and you take off your creative player and bring on Rooney and Fellaini, more poor subs from Mourinho. He has a lot to answer for really.

Crap refereeing doesn't help, should never have been a red card.

While it shouldn't have been a red card technically, seeing if something is a slide tackle or a slip in real time without replays is very very difficult. It happens relatively frequently because so many players run in late and just leave a foot in which in a split second looks almost identical.

I can perfectly understand him giving a card for it, even though it wasn't deserved at all.

Very early on but cant fault him for anything yet, i think he is perfect for when Klopp knows a team will just sit there, gives him free reign to not worry so much about defence i guess
