Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [28th April - 1st May 2017]

Well, that should be 3-0. Same old Arsenal really... not entirely sure what Ox was doing, in that he swung towards it in a way that he was surely going to blast it into the net regardless had he made the contact.

As I type, penalty given, not seen replay yet. 3-4-3 being amazing. Saw replay, definite penalty, studs caught him in the shin, missed the ball, no real question about it.

lmfao, are you serious? Even with a slight scuff it's right in the corner, he wouldn't save that if he set off 2 seconds before he kicked it.
There was no pace on the ball. I've seen plenty of keepers get their hands to balls right in the corner when they've gambled early and the striker's not connected cleanly.

Jesus, GIroud played directly through the middle on goal... takes a touch away from goal and lets the defenders get back. He's a not bad finisher, inside 8 yards, he's pretty rubbish outside of it though. Kane is as good a finisher from close but can run the ball, hold it up better, pick out good crosses and great passes and he's a threat from anywhere inside of 30yards.

I keep saying it Giroud is the level we need as rotation/back up, occasional 4-4-2 tactic against weaker teams needing more firepower... he is no where near top quality striker, he's exceptionally limited. I can't think of another top striker who wouldn't have taken that towards goal then taken a shot.

I've had a good laugh at some posts on here over the years, but your last two definitely raised a chuckle. Cheers.
