Can see why the ref has given it, looked like a blatant penalty in real time but looking at the replay it's clearly a dive.

I don't buy this 'good forward play, he's won a penalty' that Savage is talking about - it's cheating, plain and simple.
 
lol, commentators being such giant girls about it. If this was a foreign player and not Utd they'd be screaming bloody murder about that pathetic dive, instead they are playing it down.

Truly pathetic dive, easy to see how big a dive it was, dire decision, pitiful. Utd with a completely undeserved lead for a pretty terrible dive. This could be the difference between them going down or not. Savage now banging on about how it might be 'good forward play' and trying to blame the keeper.
 
I've seen worse but if I was a Swansea supporter I reckon I'd been pretty ****** at that decision. Rooney has been total gash. Had he not scored that I am not sure we would have seen him in the second half. Pretty poor display from United but three points is all that matters.
 
Talking about a three game ban for Rashford at half time. Hmm, don't seem to remember them talking about a three game ban for Costa when he did it against us....

Hilarious stuff really, yes it was a dive but the keeper went flying out at him and he did touch him (albeit slightly).
 
It's disgusting to see it but it evens out for the number of clear penalties we haven't been given this season. Burnley most recently (and Anderlecht if we're talking all comps)
 
should Rashford really have to AVOID contact? because that's basically what everyone is expecting

Definite contact from one angle, but it could have been avoided

No different from that penalty for Chelsea in the FA semi in reality but the above is what was said to me about that one.....

as above - it kind of cancels out all the pens Utd should have got and didn't throughout this season

He touched him because Rashford kicked him. I'm not one for getting into this 'only foreigners dive' debate but the lengths that BT were going not to call it a dive was cringe worthy.
