Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [28th April - 2nd May 2012]

I think the point is that you were in control because Blackburn were beyond terrible! :p

Yup, Friedel didn't even need to play, might be going to Blackburn/Wigan game, was hoping it would be epic but might be **** now, someone I know might not be able to go so got dips on ticket.

My team prediction for tomorrow:

-----------------
De Gea
------Smalling---Rio---Evans---Evra
Valencia--Scholes--Carrick--Giggs--Welbeck
-----------------Rooney

I'm sure it's happened since then. When Man U beat Spurs to win the league, wasn't that the last game? Ferdinand scored for Spurs IIRC

when blackburn won it.

Pretty sure they went into the final game with a points advantage, if so that's happened plenty of times; Man Utd in 98/99 & 07/08 and Chelsea in 09/10. I'm fairly certain the title wont be won on GD though so if City win tomorrow night then expect us to drop points against Swansea or Sunderland (I dont see City slipping up against Newcastle if they beat us)

Absolutely dreading tomorrow nights game :(

I'm still looking forward to it, will be a bag of nerves though. While it would be great to win and finish it, I'd take a draw. I think they'll drop points at Newcastle if it's a draw, but if they win I can see them winning the last two games.

I just think that our players will be too scared of Sir Alex to lose tomorrow night, we'll either win or draw.

It's going to be a nervy affair though, that's for sure.

I wish people wouldn't make predictions like this :(

Just hope Shami dont watch the game :p

I'm just dreading it :( Losing the title like this would be so much worse than if we'd never taken over them in the first place.

Oh well, we always make it interesting for good or bad.

I'd agree with this, fergie is a wise old fix he won't let them slip up.......

Saying that fergie wouldn't of let a 4-2 lead go either ...........

Should be a interesting affair tomorrow night that's for sure :)
