Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [28th April - 2nd May 2012]

You realise Wigan brought 200 fans to Stamford Bridge this season?

You wonder why you're probably even more disliked than me on here

We were 4-0 up, the game was dead and buried.

I was wondering when Gustov was going to pop up, did you walk around Barca in your Drive jacket

lol Wigan is hardly a hub of money, in THIS ECONOMY?

What about Fulham they brought 300 to Wigan this season. All that London wealth!

I hope you know that 200 fans is about their season average attendance! :p

Hahaha! Oh Cheets :D

Not at all, as I've said countless times over this season, it's nice to be winning football matches and now playing pretty good football :)

Promotion back to the Championship hopefully! Just one win away!

Oh Wednesday you got me singing the blues :)

you do seem bitter, It can be hard for such a stale walt city like Sheffield not being in the top league, you are at home with Leeds also you cant even play Rugby anymore, what happened to the Eagles

:D

Not in the premier league, they did lose 3-2 to Man U in the FA cup when they were playing at the Eithiad

good shout

Hahaha! Ok then Cheets ;)

It's quite difficult for Sheffield as a city, it's still a fantastic city away from sport. Given the current climate in the United Kingdom and the history of the 'steel' city yeah, Sheffield has fallen on harder times :) Having said that, I don't believe someone from / living in Wigan is best placed to comment on other cities :p

Not sure why you felt the need to try and drag an entire city in to this but the days of trying to understand you are long gone :)

Put £5 on Man U to win 3-2 and got a £6 free bet to put on so put that on Man U to win by coming from behind. Hoping that Man U's experience will come to some use tomorrow!

Arsenal have had the weirdest season - they lose Nasri and Fabregas late in the summer window and end up with 'poorer' and/or rushed replacements...yet 3 points out of the next 2 games means they a) beat last year's total and b) finish a place higher in a league which is arguably more competitive than last years.

I'm not sure if this is an achievement or ??

And back in the 90s you had attendances below 10k in a 40k ground? Those 200 Wigan fans are probably better than most of us on here.

Also you'd think The Bridge would have one of its famous electric atmospheres after Tuesday and a FA cup and CL final looming
