The worst bit about the Sterling incident was that the linesman was a yard away and chose to do nothing - it just screamed 'weak officiating'.
 
The lino may have said something but was overruled by the ref just as in the Fabregas dive incident v Southampton according to their mic's.

Ref books Fabregas for diving.

Sometimes I think Ref's just fancy themselves a bit too much.
 
It's the same as Aguero's assault on Luiz or Rooney's elbow on someone a few years ago (when Fergie called it a 'coming together') the FA are utter gutless worms at times and the worst thing is there's no alternative route when they decline action.
 
Biggest threat for them on left wing. But Byram doing ok on him. He did a blatant dive first half in penalty area that didn't go down well. :p

Are are an embarrassment to watch at the moment.
