Rodgers has done incredibly well after a terrible first few months of the season. If he can get Sturridge firing and get Sterling back out wide instead of someone **** like Markovic then I can definitely seen them nicking 4th over United, Southampton or Arsenal.

I think the issue was that the midfield weren't screening the defence. As good as Toure is he doesn't do his defensive work and as a result Coutinho and Lallana had all the space in the world to play in, and it's that which drew Kompany out of the back time and time again.
 
Great win, pity our finishing doesn't let us put games away but can't complain seeing those two :D

Yaya and Kompany were absolutely ****ing garbage. Aguero is great
 
Strange game that. We were pretty cautious for the first half hour and never really got going out of low gear the rest of the game, but did just about enough defensively and managed to squeak a couple of goals in along the way. Not particularly convincing but needed a win with the table being as tight as it is.
