Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [28th February - 04 March 2015]

Harsh. He wasn't spectacular by any stretch but he wasn't poor either I didn't think. He played a lovely pass to Lallana late in the first half when Lallana dragged his shot wide - he done his defensive work well too.

Markovic has potential, played some great games this season, also some poor ones.

Lets not forget how often Coutinho is, has been, useless.

Rodgers has done incredibly well after a terrible first few months of the season. If he can get Sturridge firing and get Sterling back out wide instead of someone **** like Markovic then I can definitely seen them nicking 4th over United, Southampton or Arsenal.

I don't think it looks good for utd. They have some tough fixtures throughout March and April, and still have to play City, Tottenham and Everton which Liverpool have already played and got results. They have to play Liverpool at Anfield too.

This season we've played better in more difficult fixtures, and lots of things can happen, but without a fairly big improvement it's not going to be easy viewing.

Given up, but other than that a good day. I want Chelsea to win the league as Jose is awesome and I'd be happy with Liverpool to get top 4.

I don't think everton should be listed as a tough fixture for Manu, if LVG can't get them attacking against one of the most open teams in the premiership then he should be towed behind a plane above old trafford by his neck. We are dreadful.

Just watched MOTD and I really hope Jedinak gets a ban for his elbow in the West Ham vs Palace game. It's fairly obvious he did it on purpose, the dirty ******* shouldn't get away with stuff like that, and Pardew trying to brush it off just makes it worse.

Yep, has to be a pen there.

edit: the fact that he's not going to get the ball is meaningless. Foster's taken Agbonlahor out and not got near the ball, it's a foul.
