Kaboul was never a damned fine defender, he was always a joke, he had the odd game and a good run here and there but he hardly ever played brilliantly. There was this fairly common thing where while he missed a season injured and Spurs were even worse defensively it was all put on Kaboul, as in "we're bad because Kaboul is out therefore Kaboul must be great." In reality he never was, absolute liability.
Spurs have been impressive today, starting to look a bit more Southampton like, as if the system is finally getting into the players head, the movement is better. THeir attacking intent is improved, they look far more solid and have pressured well further forward, closed the spaces as a team and generally been very good.
Everton haven't been at their best, Barry in particular just sucks, Distin is certainly not playing at the form he's achieved in the previous years. Replacements for those two in the next transfer window(s) will be top priority you'd think.
Dortmund/Klopp getting further into trouble

I actually thought they won last weekend as I saw they were 2-0 up to a newly promoted team, didn't realise till they said it during the Arsenal game that the game ended up as a draw, 1-0 down at half time today. A slump they can't seem to get out of now. Only won 3 in 12 in the league so far and losing the 13th.
