Villa still have some way to go to beat these records

I think we need to go back to the training ground and work on our defending. Ever since the clean sheet against United game we have conceding more and more goals and are starting to get punished due to it.

Why is Paul Lambert still in a job? Villa are getting thrashed every week and he persists with this young team. They will now be in the relegation zone and questions must be asked:

-Why can a >£20m striker not even get on the bench? People seem to use Benteke as an excuse but I don't see why Hollman, Weimann etc get picked ahead of Bent. (I know he allegedly has an injury now but he's been left out when fit too).
-How wise was it to cast aside experienced British international fullbacks like Warnock and Hutton? Are Villa still subsidising their wages? I know they were on big bucks ~£40k/week but if you can't sell them surely they may have been of use to stop the rot. Don't get me wrong I am not suggesting they are great players and Hutton is a thug but surely better than the dross being served up these days.
-Why do creative players like Ireland and Albrighton always have to try and make something happen off the bench?

If Villa were battering teams or at least holding their own you could perhaps understand his selections, but it seems very stubborn to continually pick poor, inexperienced players ahead of experienced pros.

Villa fans should be hammering on the doors of Villa Park demanding his head on a platter, I know Alex Mcleish was rubbish and never should have got the job in the first place, but two wrongs don't make a right.
