Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th March - 1st April 2013]

Brillaint away win against Palace, thats the best we've played this season. We closed down players and kept up the pressure for the whole 90 minutes. Deserved MOTM for Redmond but could have gone to a number of players. Well done Lee Clark, hopefully from this performance he gets more fans on his side. Bring on Wolves !!!

Man Utd want the FA Cup semi more than a relatively annonymous EPL game ( there is also the "bounce back" factor if Sunderland manage to win on Saturday vs a weakened Utd side, might work for the team in the FA cup game a couple of days later)

My bad I didn't realise that it was an FA Cup game. :o

Birmingham should be doing so much better with the players they have at their disposal. The summer will be interesting with their finances. I suspect a lot will go.

Aren't they still paying Žigić something like 50k a week which will rise to over 60 next season...

They are the weirdest team in the champ though, amazingly hit and miss.

Sunderland XI: Mignolet, Bardsley, Rose, O'Shea, Bramble, N'Diaye, Gardner, McClean, Johnson, Sessegnon, Graham.

United XI: De Gea, Rafael, Buttner, Smalling, Vidic, Carrick, Valencia, Anderson, Young, Kagawa, van Persie.

Far far far too strong a side, basically means no Vidic or RVP against Chelsea - way to let them off the hook (again)

Apparently we might played 3-5-2 against Stoke.

Might as well, or you could just sack off your defence and keeper all together. Thanks to Pulis we go to every away fixture with zero intent to attack at all.

It worries me that Pulis has this week stated that we will be looking to get the points to keep us up from our remaining 4 home games, 2 of which are against Utd and Tottenham.

Rafael off with what looked like a thigh strain. Evans on.

Kagawa has been utterly superb today, our best creative player by a country mile.
