A few runs on the outside/inside of Young. Was clean through at one point but it got blocked.

Hmm the commentators talking about Sunderland's lack of quality. But us stroking the ball around our back four and creating next to no shooting opportunities is hardly resplendent.

I'm thinking against a team playing this poorly we would be 2-3 goals up. I always get nervous if we are only one goal up.

He motioned that he'd kick it to them but they didn't want that. And it wasn't Sunderland who stopped it was the ref.

It's quite amusing how much you slate other teams and players considering how Southampton have been sitting on the edge of relegation all season, if people listened to you and didn't look at the table you'd think they were at the top!

We've been utter garbage this second half. Sunderland are looking more threatening than we are and they don't look threatening at all.
Edit it just goes to show what an attacking fullback can do. Smelling/ Valencia wing is completely devoid of hope. Young is also terrible but as long as buttner or evra can just use him as a wall to bounce the ball off and run past them at least we have some impetus.
