Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th March - 1st April 2013]

QPR are so lucky that they've got owners that can sustain a year in the Championship (and they'd be stupid not to) because they'd be beyond ****ed otherwise. Just how poor they are considering what they've spent is staggering. It's going to cost them a fortune just to get rid of half the **** they've bought this season.

I can't see Hughes getting another job anytime soon.

I'm already looking forward to seeing how the media handle a horrible contradiction for themselves.

Harry is doing a **** job but the media love flinging his ****, which way will they lean when it comes to them being relegated?!?!

You can only blame Redknapp so much though, QPR were an absolute mess when he took over. Hughes brought in a truck load of **** and Redknapp's been left trying to make a team out of them and tbf to him, despite still being a mess, they're less of a mess now than they were.

The Samba signing was nothing short of madness. If QPR go down, they'll end up having to pay him £10m+ just to get shot of him. You could possibly understand taking that gamble on a top class CB but not on an average CB that's been semi-retired in Russia since leaving Blackburn.

You can blame Redknapp all the way home really, only a bad workman blames his tools and he just hasn't done enough/anything to keep them up.

He's bought in a few average players to try and make up for the dross at the club, he hasn't improved the style or even addressed the basic problems of the team being unable to do the basics of football. He has facilitated in the utter financial ruin of QPR though which will be interesting to watch.

The media on him when they end up going down will be entertaining to watch too!

QPR are further from safety than they were under Hughes, having spent a fortune. Hope the owner has deep pockets/sticks around.
