spurs really looked a force today, could've put 5 or 6 past them. maybe modric is beginning to think he is at the right club
You mean, like Fulham? QPR aren't very good, Spurs looked good but got a lot of space for their passing.
Spurs haven't been very consistent yet this/last season, really that's the biggest difference between well the top 3 last year, and Spurs/Pool and Arsenal.
The constant attacking and support, pretty much any time a ball got pinged in to anyone standing off a CB they could just sweep it out wide, in behind the defensive line and a winger/fullback would run on to it. The movement was good, the willingness to pass forwards in those situations was very good. One of the biggest issues in the league is people unwilling to make an attacking pass rather than a simple high percentage pass. It worked very well but, against a better team, with less players flinging themselves forward Spurs tend to not be as fluid going forwards.
Frankly it is performances like that which make me think Spurs are by far the most likely to get 4th. Arsenal may have won, and against Chelsea and away, and that's pretty amazing. But how many goals did we score like Spurs today, created through purely our own attacking and not gifted goals from massive mistakes. We won't get gifted those goals against most teams in the league, Spurs if they play like that against any team will create good chances and score goals. Arsenal play like they did against Chelsea against anyone(except Bolton

) and we'll lose, its that simple.
