Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th October - 2nd November 2011]

Leeds were the better side imho.

Just poor finishing kept the scoreline level.

Also; the goal Leeds conceded was poor. When it doubt, pull it out or stick it out. Whatevs.

I'm hardly arguing for the sake of it, there was at least 3 chances in the first half where any half decent forward would have got a foot on the ball and buried it, McCormack and Keogh did neither.

And yeah, Marshall's great.

Pictures of Gerrard in plaster on tomorrows back pages. Looks like the rumours going around last night that he had surgery on his ankle were true.

Shall I post the picture for you? :p

Spurs have conceded right after half time far to often.
We did look very good, It helps that lennon is back, gives us much more structure, rather then just giving it to bale 24/7 and allows bale to be super speedy all match.

As for people asking for crouch back, your an idiot. Ade is 10 times the player crouch is, his hold up play is fantastic, if VDV, Bale, Modric hell ANYONE else keeps scoring like we are I wouldnt care if he didnt get another all season.

Wow thats a bit harsh, oh wait its a don.

Carry on.

What is harsh? I'm subject to the same rules as everyone else.

Can't believe anyone could a) think Cardiff deserved anything out of the game and b) that Leeds were anywhere near as bad :/

Without Marshall it would've been a cricket score. Without cheating it would've been 1-0.

My weekly RvP  post

He is too good, seriously. Watching him go from very good to untouchable over the last year or two has been a pleasure and a revelation. Great sight

Provided RVP remains fit, he's one of the top 3 players in the EPL and arguably the most technically sound striker. Why oh why did I not put him in my FF team sooner.

Regardless, it's still a personal attack.

Yeah it was, forgot that rule was on here. It is a good rule tbf

Also with the Terry thing, the funniest thing was that he didn't even slip, he just knew he wasn't catching RvP and fell over like an oap with a bad hip, on ice.

Very nervous about tonights game. Stoke are a tough nut to crack at home.

I'll be happy with a point and anything else is a bonus.

If there wasn't the pressure of our 'unbeaten in the league' title and the possibility of 3rd place hanging over this match I might not be quite so fussed.
