I don't mind doing the weekend threads if this is okay, it's not quite Linoge quality but this seems the best and fastest way to do it with what information I can find.

If there are any objections or anyone else wants to do it, say so!

Hmmm with RVP and Vermaelen both carrying knocks and are doubtful for the game with Liverpool....pointless bloody friendlies played during the week:mad:....but saying that Diaby may be fit to play, that should be interesting :p

Hopefully we can bag 3 pts though to keep up the pressure on the Spuds, who play Utd this weekend.

Another big game, was kinda hoping Spurs injury news was genuine but it seems Walker, VDV & Bale will all play :(

I suspect we'll line up like thus;

---------------De Gea---------------
Jones---Ferdinand---Evans---Evra
Nani---Carrick---Scholes---Young
-------------Rooney
---------------Welbeck

Subs: Amos, Rafael, Fabio, Giggs, Park, Hernandez, Berbatov

Looking forward to tomorrows early kick off as well, very interesting game.

If we can nick a win against Spurs that'll just leave City to play out of the top seven with only a two point gap.

Yep it'll give as an amazing chance, in fact I'd say it would make us favourites but Spurs are a good side and it's not often good sides lose two games in a row. Inevitably when we drop points at the weekend everyone will proclaim it's over though.

At WHL they've done alright against us under Arry, two 0-0's and one 1-3 win for us which was early season. I for one cant see us winning at the weekend tbh, it would have been hard enough had Spurs' injuries been legit but the fact they aint gives us little chance of getting 3 points imo

Would love it if we played really really crap and get absolutely battered only to nick it in the 90th minute, I think that would send cm1179 over the edge :D

I'm still not sure if I'm happy about Welbeck starting over Berbatov so much. He's good but Berbatov is real class. :(

Would send me over the edge :P

I dont necessarily agree with the treatment Berbatov's been receiving this season as in he's 4th choice regardless of who's fit but he and Rooney just doesn't work (not away from home anyway). When Rooney's injured though he should be playing, I didn't see the 90 minutes last week but I cant imagine Welbeck & Hernandez being a good partnership.

Looking forward to Sunday, some good games on. Shame the rugby clashes with the late game, a 2pm kick off would have been nice in France. Hoping we can get 3 points at stoke on Saturday, if we play as well as we did against Utd last week then we'll be in with a good chance!
