Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2nd - 5th March 2012]

None of you have said anything about Spurs, you just all arrogant, rather see a team like Spurs do well, thank god the EPL has Man City or it would just be Man United winning the league

Not arrogant just better.

Very glad your not one for sweeping generalisations

View was blocked by Rio, probably didn't see it until very late.

Totally Giggs fault for being an utter moron and handing them an assist.

+1 - no fault by De Gea (although Rio, and especially Giggs need to take a look at themselves)

Good three points, was a difficult 1st half but second half was much easier

Result was better than majority of the performace today (minus about 20 minutes in the 2nd half)

Well, I wasn't expecting a win like that.

The defence were fairly good, otherwise I think we would have easily conceded a few goals.

The midfield were absent and dreadful for most of the game, and we relied upon Spurs' defensive errors and a couple of great moments from Ashley Young in order to win.

The team as a whole look bored and like they couldn't give a ****. Most of our games have been like this recently and it is worrying, Man City are very rampant and we are not.

Disappointed yet happy at the same time. :(

Should have played Defoe from the start and it might have been a different result... the rest of the Spurs team need some target practice.

What?

Until the second goal went in, our performance was absolutely dire. Anyone can see that.

More generic Cheets nonsense. Try and come up with something a bit more interesting.

Attacking and keeping the ball performance was terrible. But defense I feel was great until 3rd goal then united knew game was won and got a little lazy at the back.

As for the ref today was easy one the best ref performances of the season dont think got anything wrong today.

Look a few posts up, I did think the defence were good, but the midfield are just so poor that it's unreal.

*facepalm Giggs*

This is just wrong

Like Liverpool, City produce a lot of chances in every match, but havent been scoring that much recently.

They have had a GD over Utd of around +10 since December (changing slightly every weekend, but it hasnt changed that much for 2 months or more)

I would actually suggest Utd make the most of their chances, and have a better conversion rate - compared to City (from the sheer amount they miss more than anything).

Look at yesterday's result (yes Bolton's gk did very well also) City (only) won against Bolton 2 -0 at the Etihad, they will have MUCH more difficult games coming up before the end of the season
