Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2nd - 5th March 2012]

Watching their goal again Carragher just stood still, let RVP past him then tried to pull him back rather than attack the ball himself. Horrible defending from someone so experienced

He can make as much of a meal of it as he wants, it's still a foul.

LOL sure whatever you say...methinks you need your eyes checked...he didnt catch him, as i said he pulled his leg back but carry on defending Suarez:p

Doesn't mean it wasn't a dive ;)

There's no way that little bit of contact would have caused that perfectly executed pirouette that Suarez should get a 10/10 for :p

We've been over this before, players go down whether they can stay on their feet or not but it doesn't change the fact that they were tripped and it was a foul.

Are you suggesting there wasn't any contact? You must be watching on a poor internet stream, that can be the only possible explanation. There's very clear contact made with Suarez's right foot.

It's quite simple. Suarez went past Szczesny and he clipped his right foot. Watch the replay and you'll see it.

No he didn't Sky have just shown it and if there was any contact it was shin on shin, but like others have said Suarez was throwing himself to the ground regardless

Suarez wasn't going to ground before the contact. It was a foul and had it been anybody but Suarez we wouldn't be having this debate.

I never said it wasn't a foul (I'm undecided) I just said it was a dive. Which it was.

Personally I think if it wasn't you we wouldn't be having this debate ;)

As I said we've had this debate before. Players have every right to go to ground when they're fouled (Suarez was) because if they don't, officials won't give anything.

Im sure people will get over Suarez "dive" when Bale does one thats even worse not that he does either according to many people. Even if Suarez stayed on his feet for us he would have been fouled and like most if not ALL footballers from ALL teams he went down even if the touch as only his shin still been caught.

I cant tell from the replay if he was touched or wasn't but either way not like we scored from the pen so Arsenal fans can get over it you been crap anyway :p
