If the foul continues into the box then it's a penalty. It did continue into the box so was a penalty.
He's made the tackled side-footed and his momentum has brought his feet off the ground. He didn't jump in 2 footed on the player.
Both these are entirely wrong, a foul committed outside the box has to be played on and ANOTHER foul committed inside the box, it wasn't a penalty.
Secondly, his momentum didn't bring his feet off the ground, he never hit the ground before making contact, almost a foot off the ground, with studs directly into a players shin. Sorry that's a red card every single time, not being two footed doesn't make it any less of a red card.
I don't think he meant to but its reckless and that is what makes it a red card. The only difference between that and someone doing an obvious jump into a challenge, is how it looked, watch that replay carefully, his arm is just about touching the ground as he makes contact, but the full force of all his momentum is going through his studs into the player, and not on the ground but almost a foot off the ground. It didn't obviously look like a red card at first, but with the replay its clear as day.
The offside, who knows, the Suarez "penalty" is so far from blatant its a joke, before anyone touches him, he moves towards Hangeland and puts his arm around him, his arm being up would have prevented any way of getting past Hangeland, he played for it, and he does it every game, he did it later to Senderos as well, he runs past a player, puts his arm around them and takes both down.
Senderos should have been off though, two yellows, the not a penalty one, and they didn't show the replay but when Caroll slipped then Senderos fell over, on the way back to goal he pulled Carroll to the ground, cynical foul, second yellow. Dempsey should have been off as well, and those ridiculous situations where a ref absolutely wrongly gives both players a yellow, it was quite clearly a red for Dempsey and nothing for Bellamy, who did nothing but back away, how you can get a yellow for that I'll never know.
