Game raisers, been their party trick for quite a few years now

Really? We were around third from bottom this time last year and playing the worst football we had ever played. If Hodgson had done a better job on and off the pitch he would've kept his job but he was a complete shambles.interesting i haven't read any 'dalglish out' comments yet, yet if it had still been hodgson at the helm, i'm sure there would have been.
Indirect free-kicks are only for back passes now, it's either a penalty or nothing and going by the ref today, it was only ever going to be nothing.
When did that change then?
yeh tbf you should've beaten city and you have beaten chelsea. don't think that would've happened under hodgson.
Just because you might catch somebody with a high foot, it doesn't make it a instant red card or else you'll be sending players off for any sort of high footed challenge. You have to take into account the actual challenge not just how the bodies have ended up.
Spearing doesn't jump into the challenge. He's made a side-footed tackle and after striking the ball with his foot at its lowest point, his momentum has meant his right foot has followed through and caught the lad.
Yep, probably our best performance under HodgsonDidn't they beat Chelsea under Hodgeson or am I imagining things?

I'm not arguing if it was a red or not, I'm disagreeing with your view that it wasn't 'particularly dangerous'. It was dangerous. Whether he meant it to be or not is irrelevant, if Dembele wasn't already mid flight that could have seriously hurt him. He's connected with him above his ankle with his studs, it's dangerous!
with two feet lunging..
The way the Liverpool fans surround the ref is disgusting. Harsh red though.
Yeah everyone might aswell stop doing slide tackles.

Not sure exactly when but it's been like that for a good few years now.
