Hope I'm proved wrong like I was with Suso but I'd guess a replacement for their side will be looked at before we look at a player to replace Sterling.

You always concentrate on the negatives. Why is it "Hope I'm proved wrong like I was with Suso" rather than "Hope you're proved right like you were with Suso"?
Agree though that Suarez, Sterling + 1 is likely to be our first choice front line but we need more options and specifically goalscorers.

If we can get one or two players who can bang in the easy ones while Suarez has his own goal of the season contest we could definitely be top 4, until then every match is just going to be dominating and not winning due to poor finishing. (Except the ones the referee step in obviously.)

And that is also why if we get a world class finisher like Huntelaar, he would florish in this squad. We need a goalscorer, and another winger probably.
If only it were that simple. Suarez is creating those chances because he's picking the ball up in and around the penalty area - to accommodate Huntelaar you've got to move Suarez to the wing and he's not going to be as effective.
If we can get somebody as good as Huntelaar then shifting Suarez wide might be worth the gamble but ultimately I think the best solution would be either a tweaked system (possibly a diamond with Sterling, with the freedom to play down either flank, behind Suarez + 1) or bringing in a top class wide forward. Somebody like Cavani would be nice

I hear that Carroll could do a job at Liverpool with Suarez just behind him. Hunterlaar isn't all that.

I'm actually SUPPORTING liverpools assertions that they should be winning more games, yes they should, they would be helped enourmously if Suarez stopped punting the ball into the stands every thirty seconds, got his head up and laid the ball off occasionally.

Suarez is a good player, he'd be better if he passed or cut the ball back more often and Liverpool invested in a 'goal scorer'.
He does, it usually leads to other people missing. The odd time they score, we have much bigger issues than Suarez shooting a few too many times and the reason he does that is probably one
So anyone watching WBA vs Saints this evening? Monday night tv games are my kind of away days and I am off to the midlands soon, hopefully with appropriate amounts of Sabbath for the car journey.
