Jones and Carrick were useless as well today, they installed no confidence whatsoever, especially for the second goal.
When the joint leader's in a league leave in 3 goals at home against the bottom team it all can't be the keepers fault! Due to injuries the team hadn't a single leader and the structure of the side was just a mishmash of defenders and midfielder's playing out of position.
wow - didn't see that coming.
After Southampton lost yesterday, I'm hoping that Derby can keep the score at 2-1 over West Ham. Then Boro need a home win to go level on points with Soutampton at the top.
I'm not going to call for De Gea to be dropped or claim he's been a bad buy but today he was at fault for 2 goals, the best keepers very rarely get beaten through the legs and he's done it twice this season and the winner was totally his fault
Reina's made a couple of mistakes that have lead to goals this season as well and was a walking nightmare early on in his PL career and he's arguably the best keeper in the world so like I said I won't go OTT on the criticsm of De Gea but today it was down to him
In fairness, it was as clear a penalty as there's ever going to be! Do you normally lose to pens, against Chelsea, then?
