Being a flop doesn't necessarily relate to how a player adapts to a league (although in some cases it may do). A crap player who was rated by a scout, cost £7m, moves to another league, adapts to the new league just as well as the old one but is still crap due to lack of a ability, can still be viewed as a flop.
 
I wouldn't call Bebe a flop, because I don't think he was ever signed on the basis of his ability. He's a backhander to dodgy Portugese agents, and always has been.
 
You can be a flop for many reasons, finding it difficult to adjust to a new league, country is just one potential reason why this might happen.

Bebe was very raw but certaionly a quick and athletic lad. Imo we wouldnt spend that much on a player just as a payment to some agents, and then play him in the champions league? Unless Fergie was thinking 16 months down the line for a sell on value increase? i dont know.
 
I think it's a bit harsh to call Bebe no good, Portugal seem to think he's good enough to play for the U21's so he still may turn out to be a good player in the future, I doubt it will be at United now simply because he'll never be given the chance probably.
 
Team wont be to bad, main thing to watch is how Kaboul and Dawson do together as in the past they both worjked best with a king or gallas along side them. will be a good test of how far they have come
 
Poor City, Sky when talking about the Spurs game are just saying they'll go level with us with a win not that they'll go 3 points behind City :p
 
i don't think the spurs game is on tv! still, with liverpool v city on bbc and the spurs game on the other source,football fans are in for a good wednesday night!
