Not sure how you can claim that, the team got the scores back to 2-2 and ultimately the winning goal was due to De Gea's mistake. Had he not made that mistake would we have lost? Probably not. It would have stayed at 2-2 or we may have even gone on to win it. His mistake came so late in the game you cant even blame the players for not going back up the pitch and making it 3-3.

As for VDS I can count on 1 hand the real howlers he made at United

Seems stupid to think i know better than the bookies but 4/1 for Newcastle to win has me interested. Fergie has very little to play with tonight and it will only take anderson to have a bad game and the midfield will look very suspect

can work both ways. friedel is renowned for walking around to keep alert when he has not a great deal to do which is good as it keeps concentration up. easy to switch off if you're a spectator for the best part of the game.

i must also give my praise to kaboul, he really has come on and was immense in the air and gate keeper role last night.
