I used to think Skrtel would be good for captain but to be honest he is too easily flustered. No idea who i'd give it to. Not really any player who can just 'lead by example' either.

It is, the FA can make it even more if they wanted but it's a standard thing that the second of any offence gets a bigger ban, has to be for the same thing though. So if you get a red for a professional foul, then a second red for violent conduct they don't stack, so 1 game ban for first, 3 game ban for second. If you then got a red for another professional foul it's a 2 game ban, another red for violent conduct and it's a 4 game ban.

Yeah just saw. Skrtel not rising to it impressively. We can all only hope for a double leg break or acl

True. Could be he is just one of those players who leads off the pitch but when I think of on pitch leadership I think of a captain talking to other players, motivating them, telling them where to stand etc. I just never seem to see Milner leading like that. Its something you saw the likes of Hyppia, Carragher, Gerrard etc doing all the time
