Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [30th September - 2nd October 2011]

2-0 Fulham, Johnson I think taken down in the box by keeper, going nowhere, stupid from the keeper, Murphy took it.

I had to say I'd be shocked if the Chelsea game finished 5-1 :(

Also, awesome shot, by, Walters....... 30-35yards out, keeper just tipped it onto the bar.

That was like watching UFC with disabled opponents. Bolton put up a fight in 2nd half but Chelsea obviously playing at half speed still managed to get the better of them.

Sturridge looked sharp. Mata's and Ramire's finishing was awful, much needs to be done. Crossing from dead ball practice needs to be sorted out asap.

Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Song, Gibbs, Coquelin, Arteta, Ramsey, Walcott, Gervinho, Van Persie.

Substitutes: Fabianski, Andre Santos, Jenkinson, Frimpong, Arshavin, Benayoun, Park.

Spuds: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Van der Vaart, Parker, Modric, Bale, Adebayor, Defoe.

Why is Coquelin being thrown to the lions again, making the kid start at OT and WHL meanwhile leaving Frimpong on the bench?

HT 3-0 - Fulham playing some really good football. AJ's 8th goal of the season today, I think. 4th in 1.5 games.

He's probably better than Frimpong, less likely to get a red card, and meh, I don't think it will make a difference. This could be embarassing, and with Song in defence, in a game like this, I'd honestly not want to risk Frimpong and Song on the pitch in a game like this.

Where are we on defenders, I can't for the life of me remember now, Verm is out, Kos got injured, Djourou and Squillaci, has Wenger just stopped pretending they are defenders, or are they injured aswell, what about Miquel, he's better than Song, if not brilliant.

Considering how a greek side who are woeful away from home gave Song/Mert the run around, and Spurs are a considerably better side, meh.

Also AOC, not brilliant but one of our best players in the past few games, doesn't even make the bench? :(

Its Arsenal, and Spurs, neither are consistant, both can have truly awful games out of nowhere, but if both teams play in general as well as they have all season, Arsenal are going to get thumped.

Right, I nearly put a bet on Tottenham to win but I decided not to. As I put one on Everton and they lost, I sense that if I had put this Spurs bet on then Arsenal would win. Therefore I think normal service will resume this weekend and Arsenal will win.
