it wasn't a blatant handball though, really difficult to call other than that, we didn't have any other luck, neither did arsenal. it came down to grit and determination of which spurs had more of.

I wasn't referring to the handball as such it was more something from nothing. We were pretty ineffectual until a moment of brilliance... Twice. All our other chances were from shocking Arsenal mistakes.
this spurs team should have destroyed an arsenal team bereft of confidence and solidity. Instead we had less possession and looked ***** quite frankly. We are lucky to have players capable of genius. We should, however, have been in control we were not because the tactics were suicidal.
incidentally, the last time set up like this, manure beat us and man city destroyed us. Harry still has not learned, hence the "we got lucky" line

Suspected broken leg for Sagna. Wouldn't be a season for Arsenal without someone's leg being broken would it. The thought of Jenkinson being the best we can offer at right back fills me with joy.

Lee Dixon seems to think that Sagna and Gibbs were at error for our goals today, or that is what I felt he was saying. They were out of position for both. I quite like Jenkinson and with Mertersaker inside him he might do ok. All I can hope for is Andre Santos to be first choice LB now

I know he's young but Jenkinson's been an accident waiting to happen in every game he's played. I'd be very worried if he has to play for a sustained period.

There can't be any evertonians sad about the sale of arteta anymore. Miles past his prime and we got millions for him. 3 years ago he would have dominated that midfield with creative balls, he has no confidence anymore and his delivery is average at best.

Arsenal have confirmed that Sagna has broken his fibula and will be out for 3 months. No point signing Hibbert in January if it's just 3 months
There is when you consider that an 'Arsenal' 3 months could well put him out into the middle of next season, let alone this one
