Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [30th September - 2nd October 2016]

Can't believe we only got £14m for him.

Yeah he's a good player, not sure why you sold him tbh. Probably didn't have the athleticism for Klopp or something, best Stoke player today along with Grant.

That feels like a loss. We were very good for the 1st half but just lacked a cutting edge.

would agree with the edited version

At the moment Utd are going to struggle to be top 5 at the moment, missing far too many chances (1st half vs City & today we should have scored ....5 -6 more at least). Just not clinical enough

The mind boggles watching Rooney take all our set pieces when coming on, making a horrid mess of every single one of them.

We started the second half very poorly but dominated the rest of it, and a De Gea fumble hands them a goal (hard to be too critical of him considering how excellent he usually is).

He just said that Rooney didn't miscontrol the ball but was opening himself up to shoot, perhaps if they were playing Stoke's pensioner team he'd have the time. Poor awareness either way.

Ouch at those next 8 games

Two games against Fenebache in with a bad run of league games. I would say to some degree they need 6 or 7 wins from that 8 or they'll be out of the running before xmas.

I just can't see Mourinho being the guy to rebuild this team, he doesn't create offences, he buys in attackers and rides their form but those players form tends to go down significantly under him and his fix is.... buy more attackers next year.

How they didn't go, hey, our defence is solid but our offence is broken... lets bring in a offensively minded coach to fix that part of the team.
