I feel bad for him, he probably didn't know the camera was doing a close up and focusing on him when he just threw himself to the ground. It was hilarious though.
I love the RVP bashing, getting zero delivery and none of the ball, all his fault. Rooney and in this game Di Maria getting a decent amount of the ball and doing exactly nothing at all with it, not there fault at all, just RVP's. Nonsense. Di Maria has been poor today, Rooney is worthless in that deeper role, awful passer. If anything take off Rooney and put in someone who can pass, Herrera would do, and see what happens.

Jesus Rooney, you actually run forward with pace and power... first time in like 5 years. Gets to the end then...... cuts away from goal... wtf, serious wtf. Shoot or pass, not stop dead for no reason at all. Idiot.
A hint of the good Rooney, the one I've talked about. Rooney's only real strength to his game is pace/power, driving forwards he's a different player, he just doesn't do it anymore, not consistently. He's looked good for precisely 5 seconds in this game and at the end of it instead of shooting with power or passing, he stopped dead and ruined the attack. Di Maria again pretty poor with the shot, took an age to get the shot away and it was poor.
Rooney driving forwards and Rooney trying to be a playmaker and pick out passes is night and day, one version of Rooney is very good, the other is pretty awful.... why does he persist with being the crap one?
