lol, it to me proves Wenger's eye for talent has just gone. I'd have sold Ozil to anyone and bought Fabregas if it was a question of wages and being able to afford them. Fabregas with Sanchez and Wilshere would work a peach. Saying no to Fabregas is just ridiculous, you do not say no to his quality.
In this game again we see, Flamini while a nice little player to have is not cut out at the top level. Even at his best he was a great squad player and good as extra muscle and versatile but he wasn't ever Gilberto/Edu/Vieira class. Ozil is cack against teams that put him under pressure. Mert is still a problem physically and Kos is still mistake prone, as a combination against less good teams they make it work but we conceded a ridiculous number of goals last year in the tough games and they were suspect in all of them as they have been again today. We need to stop beating Villa or Spurs and deciding if we beat them the players are good enough to beat anyone, that isn't how it works. The team is full of players who aren't the quality required, but many of them are being paid top wages.
We could just about stick with mert/Kos if we had MUCH better fullbacks and we actually kept one of them back to help cover for Mert's lack of pace in such games. they also desperately need a better DM infront of them.
