Valencia playing in right central midfield? Hm.

I'm hopeful that Mata can actually do a better job than Rooney offensively in providing passes to the strikers, they both make excellent runs.

Rooney had a load of assists last season.

Looking forward to seeing Mata though, must admit.

Valencia is a disaster waiting to happen in cm imo

Mata will push forward and there will be huge gaps inthat area of the field - could well be a horror show (but not sure Fletcher or Fellaini would be any better - was kind of hoping Periera would get the nod)
 
God how I hate Valencia. He has one of the slowest decision making processes of any footballer I have ever seen.
 
Everton are starting to open up a little. Game on Thursday starting to tell?
