Sorry I see what you mean now, taking away the Mane one from a different game (judge each incident on its own merit) I'd say he got the ball. It's then down to interpretation from the ref on if it was dangerous. Each ref will have their own interpretations rightly or wrongly.

That's not what you said but okay, letter of the law is he denying a goal scoring opportunity, what happened after is irrelevant.
I said Newcastle scored? As in why would he be sent off and he didn't deny it...you literally scored.
Not according to FIFA, if Newcastle hadn't scored then it would've been but since it didn't prevent a goal (Atsu knocked the rebound in) it wasn't a red card offence
