Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [3rd - 7th February 2017]

Was it a blistering start? To be fair a few people on here (not me) predicted Liverpool should have been top or there abouts after 12 games because of the fixture list. Klopp was then a messiah and every team in the league or any league would take him etc.

I said quite a few times with the way the finances are he won't ever get as near as BR got to winning the title at Liverpool. Even last week I was utterly amazed the amount of LFC fans I know who have turned on Klopp.

You're joking? We had the toughest start to the season imaginable. The fact that we came through that start and were playing so well is what gave people hope. That said, you only have to look back to the 2nd game of the season vs Burnley to see where we would full down - dreadful individual mistakes at the back and one way of attacking.

Today we out-Klopped the Kloppmeister. Silva's has focused on work ethic, team work and positional organisation and this has radically changed Hull's outlook. Most people haven't heard of the player's we have signed but Evandro is looking a bargain signing at £500,000.

To be fair that Liverpool team is slightly above average. The players are just not good enough so blaming Klopp or calling him a flop is a bit ridiculous as the fans seem to be implying over internet forums.

Edit - Credit to Silva as he has done a really good job so far for Hull. Very likeable manager as well hope they stay up

No, not from the very start the run from the end of September, someone on here predicted you should be top or there about's at xmas. That's 3 months of easy games for Liverpool.

24 – Hull City (H)

October

1 – Swansea City (A)
15 – Manchester United (H)
22 – West Bromwich Albion (H)
29 – Crystal Palace (A)

November

5 – Watford (H)
19 – Southampton (A)
26 – Sunderland (H)

December

3 – Bournemouth (A)
10 – West Ham United (H)
13 – Middlesbrough (A)
17 – Everton (A)
26 – Stoke City (H)

Exactly, so I don't think you made a blistering start, with that run of fixtures up until xmas you were where you should be.
We played most of the top 6, or was it 10, away from home in the first half of the season and were way above were we realistically should've been at Christmas. Our run in January meant we should've been looking at challenging Chelsea for top spot by the time they came to Anfield and that's where it's gone wrong.

Always feel as though Liverpool need that top four of Mane, Coutinho, Firmino and Lallana to click. When they're all playing they look a completely different side but missing even just one of those and they seem to lose their creativity, high press and everything about them that makes them difficult to play against.

Nailed on 3 PTS for Liverpool , thats what Liverpool do , perform against top sides and get beat by the likes of Hull.

Hope I'm wrong but I'm fearful.

So you were excluding the first month and a half of the season when you were talking about our opening 12 games?

Yes I made a mistake it wasn't the start it was before that run of games a couple of people here predicted they should be top. My humble apologies.

Either way you're still **** and gained very little from changing rodgers as I predicted. :p

Because our buying policy hasn't changed.
