Fergie said in the program notes its 10 games

"The likes of Anderson and Cleverly haven't played for a while and 10 appearances guarantees them a [championship] medal. It also puts freshness in the team. Phil Jones has not had a lot of football and has done terrificly when he's in the team. I expect us to express ourselves really well"

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Darren Fletcher and Alexander Buttner will receive a medal for helping Manchester United regain the title, even though they have only made three appearances each.

Players who make five or more league appearances for the champions are guaranteed a medal - in previous years it was 10 - but Ferguson will allocate others to squad players who have only featured on a handful of occasions.

All interviews I read last week surrounding this quoted Fergie saying the rules had changed and it was now five.

It doesn't really matter though :p

Talk about letting them pass it around. It's like a testimonial match at the moment.

Giggs and Valencia just aren't enough support for Van Persie, so easy for Chelsea to mark one player.

He has potential but has utterly failed to develop so far, it would be commented on more but Welbeck pretty much has that title wrapped up.

This team just lacks excitement, there's no-one that can create anything, we're just sitting around waiting for Van Persie to do something while laughing at Valencia.
