Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4 - 8th May 2013]

3 Wigan, 4 Reading, what is going on. Doesn't help that certain teams give up almost the second they are safe, West Brom, Fulham and mostly Swansea have been attrocious lately.
 
we are being played off the park by Southampton. there are always more red shirts on the screen- just no energy from spurs.
 
How long can AVB leave this team on the pitch. Lennon and Bale not even made a touch second half. Simply awful and giving Arsenal 4th on a plate. Shameful
 
this screams of spurs waking up deep in stoppage time and battering them but getting nothing.

yeah cos Adebayor has been the answer all the way through the season...

I feel sorry for AVB- the players on Spurs' bench are just poor.

Adebayor- chump
Siggy- not good enough
Dempsey- terrible
Holtby- young and dumb

Edit- Dempsey and Siggy have both scored important goal this season but their general performance levels have just been really pap

To be fair to Holtby he has a lot of potential.

Chelsea watching this must be licking their lips because it takes the pressure off tomorrow and shows how wrecked the spurs squad is. Going to need a major investment in depth of quality for next season
 
Substitutions and Cisse thrown on the wing killed any chance of winning that game, but don't worry, Pardew will be ecstatic with an away point. Feels good to not get ****ed though.

West Brom are useless.
 
Looks like Podolski will be starting up front with Carzola and Walcott on the wings. Hopefully Pod has his goal scoring head on today, need some goals from him seeing as Giroud is out suspended. Must win game for us if we want to keep our top 4 place alive...thankfully Spurs are drawing at the moment:p and hoping it stays that way or Soton get a goal.

Grrr WBA WTF?? why you losing to Wigan :/..every damn year Wigan seem to win the games to keep them out of relegation...not looking forward to us playing them next, they could very well beat us as they have shown in the past couple of seasons now :/
 
Wigan have Swansea who aren't going to try as well so that will be 3 more points, we are ****** :p

Was it West Brom not bothering or Wigan playing brilliantly?
