Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4 - 8th May 2013]

I had Spurs down to win this game anyway so it would have been a nice surprise to see them drop points, but it's quite grating given how they were dominated for nearly all the game and created virtually nothing. Still, ST's final ball and finishing were rubbish, and it's their own fault.

We woke up after 60 mins and started looking threatening- that said Southampton deserved 1 or 3 points.

Bale's goal was insanely good and he saved us once again- his strength to hold off Shaw and keep his balance was exceptional. The ferocity of the shot was also excellent.

I am hugely relieved and I hope we can start finding some form soon.

LOL Walcott scores the fastest goal this year!!!:D:D:D

1-0...excellent start Arsenal...and few more thanks.

LOLQPR:D

And for gods sake Arsenal dont sit on a 1 goal lead...more goals needed please.

Rally happy with Villa's form even if we do make hard work of it :p.

Last 12 games:
6 wins - QPR, Reading, Norwich, Sunderland, West Ham and Stoke
2 draws - Everton and Fulham (which we really should have won)
4 loses - Liverpool, United, City and Arsenal

Just need Wigan to lose their game in hand and we'll be in a good position to stay up :D.

Haim, Hill, Park, and a useless injured Zamora upfront, is this Redknapp just screwing his old club over on purpose?

he promised their agents some gametime so videos can be distributed and transfers arranged.

Naturally Harry will receive some commission.

Cisse's shot was over the line
It does look over from this image. Still, impossible to be sure, especially considering the linesman had stacked it.

As usual Arsenal struggling since their opening goal. QPR are looking dangerous and have a had a couple of good chances :/

If Sunderland win on Monday and Wigan win their game in hand on Tuesday (which could easily happen) then you'll have 2 points separating Wigan in 18th and Stoke in 11th.

edit: it'll actually be Newcastle in 18th on gd. Still just 2 points between 18th and 11th, with it being very possible that any side from Stoke down could get relegated.

Here's hoping stoke and Swansea do the biz! :D
